All-terrain access for the work the chainsaw can’t reach.

CPL pick-up MEWPs are built on the Isuzu D-Max and Ford Ranger 4×4 chassis — designed for forestry tracks, green-lane access, and contracts where a van-based unit would bog down on the first wet day.

Why CPL for arboriculture

The standards a arboriculture buyer actually checks.

  • 01

    4×4 chassis as standard

Both the D-Max and the Ranger Raptor are factory-spec 4WD with proper low-range gearing. Wet grass, gravel, and forestry tracks are the working environment — not the edge case.

  • 02

    Chipper-compatible coupling

Pick-up builds come with a Class A tow coupling rated to 3,500 kg, electrics wired for a chipper-grade trailer, and a body cut-out that lets the chipper sit clear of the rear lights and the chevron panel.

  • 03

    NPTC-friendly basket

Basket dimensions and tool-tray loadout follow the spec arb teams actually use day-to-day — chainsaw scabbard, fuel can rack, rope-and-harness anchor points, and a 200 kg working load.

  • 04

    Lead time 6–8 weeks

D-Max chassis on a 6-week slot, Ranger on 8. Both ship out fully signed-off — including PAS 43 inspection and operator-position certification.
